¡Bienvenidos al Quinto Grado!

Mi nombre es Ramiro Carranza y soy el maestro de Artes de Lenguaje y Matemáticas en Español. Yo trabajaré junto a la maestra Austyn, quien enseña Artes del Lenguaje, Ciencias y Estudios Sociales en Inglés. Ambos estamos muy contentos de tenerlos en nuestra clase.

Este año escolar en Artes del Lenguaje, aprenderemos a escribir narrativas y ensayos persuasivos, dar reportes orales y escritos basados en lectura de libros y en proyectos de investigación, así como también aprenderemos a analizar importantes artículos de actualidad.

En matemáticas revisaremos estimaciones y redondeos, valores posicionales y ampliaremos el concepto de decimales, porcentajes y fracciones Estoy contento de ser un maestro en esta escuela y creo que este será un año muy especial para todos nosotros. Gracias por su visita!

 

Welcome to Fifth Grade!

My name is Ramiro Carranza, I teach Spanish Language Arts and Math. I work with Maestra Austyn, who teaches English Language Arts, Science and Social Studies. We are both delighted that you can join us.

In Language Arts this year, we will write narratives, and essays, and will work on research based projects throughout the year. We will also analyze the importance of articles found in newspapers, and magazines. In Math, we will review rounding and estimation, as well as expand our understanding of fractions, decimals and percents.

I feel fortunate to work at Adelante, I believe that once again this will be a very special year for all of us. Thanks for visiting our site!
